Bloodstock Open Air Festival - It's Official !
Old Corpse Road have been confirmed to play the mighty Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2010, the UK's most important metal festival. The band will be playing in the Unsigned Stage on Saturday 14th August. The stage time is yet to be confirmed and once we have more details we will let you know. For now please visit http://www.bloodstock.uk.com and check out the line up for this amazing weekend of metal. We are extremely excited and honored to be granted this slot and we would like to thank Lee and the Bloodstock team for this fantastic opportunity. We raise our horns up high to you! We hope to see you all there and in the pit for what will be our most significant gig to date.
The track “The Witch of Wookey Hole” features on the cover mount CD for the latest issue of Terrorizer Magazine (#198). The track has been slightly edited in order for it to fit on the CD! In addition the band also featured in the previous issue (#197) in the Choice Cuts section. We would like to thank James Hoare and Melissa Johnstone at Terrorizer for their help and support, Hails!
Darkness Shade Records
A special edition tape format of “The Echoes of Tales Once Told” is due to be released in later in the year via Darkness Shade Records. The tape will be strictly limited to 100 copies and will feature bonus songs “Hell’s Kettles” and “The Song of Amergin” taken from the demo recording sessions. This is a rare opportunity to get these tracks as they may never be released again. We are honored to contribute to a scene going back to the early days of tape trading across the world. Order and trade details will be available soon but in the meantime please show support for the underground black metal tape scene and visit www.darknessshaderecords.tk and check out some of the underground releases available. Hails and horns to Darkness Shade Records.

Writing In Progress
Work has now commenced on the as yet untitled debut album. We have several songs in the workings at present and so far are very pleased with how they are coming together. The songs are our usual grand mixture of blasting infernos meeting deep atmospherics alongside mellow folk passages. Sticking to our usual lyrical themes expect haunting tales of ghosts, witches and otherworldly creatures for your delight.
