New Tales…
Things are rolling along very smoothly as we enter the autumn of 2009. The end of the year should see yet more progression for the band on many different levels.

Gathering of the Clans  and Live Performances

Now that recording of the EP is complete, the band want to focus on live shows across the UK and beyond. We have just secured a last minute spot on this years Gathering of the Clans festival which takes place at the Vic Bikers Pub in Coalville, Leicester on Saturday 17th October. For full details see www.folkmetaluk.co.uk and www.myspace.com/folkmetaluk . Please come along and support us at this great festival and check out the great lineup.

We have recently played a couple of local shows, the first being at our home town of Darlington at “Seen Metal Night” on 25th September and the second being in the local town of Bishop Auckland at “The Tut ‘n’ Shive” on 1st October. The gigs went really well and we received great feedback from the crowds. We are looking to secure more shows around the UK in the near future and hope to see you all on the road very soon.

Split EP with Worms of Sabnock

The recording, mixing and mastering is now complete. The tracks sound really fresh, epic and exciting and we cannot wait to share these songs with you. Old Corpse Road and Worms of Sabnock are now collaborating our efforts on the artwork and packaging for the CD.

UK Black Metal no.2 Compilation

The UK Legions of Black Metal Zine and Panzerfaust Productions are set to release another UKBM freebie compilation which will feature an as yet unheard Old Corpse Road song “Hell’s Kettles”. This song was recorded at the back end of 2008 during the demo recording sessions for “The Echoes of Tales Once Told”. More details will follow soon but in the meantime please visit http://www.myspace.com/theuklegionsofblackmetalzine .
